Poster Submission Form
Innovations in Equity
PolicyLink believes that the wisdom, voice, and experience of communities are key to addressing major challenges that face the nation. Equity Summit 2011 is a premier venue for advocates to share and learn through discussion, skill building trainings, and workshops. While the Summit will feature more than 200 speakers on panels, we know that many more individuals and organizations are innovating new solutions in their communities and regions. To capture this exciting work, PolicyLink is offering all organizations attending the Summit the opportunity to create an electronic poster that describes their work to be displayed at the Summit.
We are looking for programs, policies, and practices that have engaged and benefited low-income communities and communities of color. Submissions can include a variety of issues and approaches to building communities of opportunity where all have the access to quality jobs, education and housing, diverse transportation choices, healthy foods, and safe places to be physically active.
Accepted submissions will be displayed throughout the conference hotel on plasma screens on a running loop of posters. PolicyLink will review all submissions.Deadline to submit is October 31, 2011
